Two Microsoft employees posted this article about Agile UX a year ago. I really liked the following quote:
Agile developers “learn by building” and this tends to make them skeptical of the value of Big Design Up Front. But in more fundamental ways, Agile and Ux share a common philosophy. The Ux design process of building a UI prototype and testing it with users is similar to an Agile iteration. Ux design is built intrinsically on iteration, testing and learning from user reactions
This is one of the key characteristics that Agile and UX share.
